Seit Mittwoch, 10.11. von den Kanaren aus unterwegs...
I am on Route to the Cape Verde Islands. Bidding farewell was really difficult, but I have
already seen dolphins two times. One of them jumped high out of the water directly
ahead of the bow, that was super to see. I am already awaiting my first night at sea.
There is not much wind, we are going at an average speed of 2 1/2 knots, and
sometimes it goes down below 2 knots. There is a big swell, so we are pretty much
rocked back and forth, but I am already getting used to it.
Donnerstag, 11.11.
It is a very nice day today. Last night the wind strengthened and I am now going at an
average speed of 5,7 knots. The sky is a little bit cloudy but as soon as the sun breaks
through it does get immediately warmer again. Today I saw one ship that came to pass
me in the opposite direction. And lastly, I again have to get used to the silence but it is
great to see nothing but water and to enjoy sailing.
Soweit der aktuelle Stand.
Sie macht z.Zt. nicht besonders viel Fahrt und ich weiss nicht wie lange sie für die ca. 800sm noch unterwegs sein wird.
Heute Tag 3 auf See, d.h. wenn es so läuft wie bisher, dann wohl nicht vor So
Haltet einfach die Augen auf und heisst sie ganz herzlich Willkommen auf ihrer (Rekord)-Weltumsegelung.
